Designing a liquid experience


More and more consumers and small businesses are making the move to mobile to help manage their day-to-day lives. With that migration comes the demand -– and expectation -– for seamless utility between their Web and mobile experiences.

As Omar Green, director of strategic mobile initiatives at Intuit, puts it: the goal is to create liquid experience. He shared his views on why and how to do this during a talk at the South by Southwest Interactive festival in Austin, Texas this year.

Customers are looking for instant gratification in an end-to-end experience independent of what device they’re using to access their information.

When companies can achieve that they will drive customer delight and the uptake of new mobile services.
