Today is the 10th anniversary of the United Nations’ World Day for Cultural Diversity, a day intended to raise awareness of the richness of world cultures and the opportunities that cultural diversity can bring to societies.
To commemorate this day, Intuit, the United Nations and a network of more than 700,000 participants are gathering for the second annual “Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion.” Through this initiative, people worldwide are encouraged to “do one thing” to support cultural diversity through cultural exchanges, music, food, cinema, languages or art.
Intuit CEO Brad Smith discusses Intuit’s support of the campaign and shares his perspective on the importance of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
