Intuit Offers a Single Global Offering for Small Businesses Around the World

QuickBooks Online now supports small business owners, whether they’re counting euros in Austria or dollars in Zimbabwe. Now optimized for international use, QuickBooks Online helps small business owners anywhere easily create localized invoices, pay bills and track expenses in 145 currencies.

Since a limited test release in July, the product is already in use in 130 countries, around the world.

“The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well around the world, and is a critical part of the global workforce and countries’ gross domestic product,” said Alex Lintner, president of Intuit’s Global Business division. “With QuickBooks Online becoming available globally, we can now help the 29 million small businesses in the U.S., as well as the more than 500 million small businesses worldwide to effectively manage their operations and achieve financial success.”

QuickBooks Online taps into the power of community and allows users to customize the product with their home country’s language, currency and tax rates so that it is truly specific to their culture and way of doing business.

“Highly customizable content makes QuickBooks Online local everywhere, helping the world’s small businesses and accountants quickly get set up and run their business anywhere in the world,” said Dan Wernikoff, senior vice president and general manager of Intuit’s Financial Management Solutions division.
